More Than A Health Center

Marathon Health Center is dedicated to the physical, mental and social wellbeing of the Marathon community.

We partner with Texas Tech Health Sciences Center for telemedicine appointments. Our technicians take vitals and provide diagnostic testing such as cholesterol, glucose, A1C, and infections like Flu and strep throat. This enables our tele-med doctors to diagnose and prescribe accurately. All our services adhere to HIPAA privacy standards.

Our Zoom Room can be used to meet remotely with mental health professionals, and our participation in the TCHATT (Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine ) program offers free mental health services to any child enrolled in Marathon ISD. We are fortunate to have Carolyn Hanesworth, DSW (Doctor of Social Work), as our in-person therapist and social worker.

We are proud to offer laboratory services through Quest diagnostics, thanks to our amazing volunteer phlebotomists. If you need lab work, we can schedule a tele-med appointment for you to get the orders, then perform the draw on-site and schedule a follow-up appointment for the results. All without the need to leave town.

For families and individuals in need of home health services, we are launching a home health program in conjunction with seniors at Marathon ISD. We can provide in-home help and link patients with in-home nursing services.

We offer local memberships for our workout room, available 24/7. We host group classes such as yoga, free health screening clinics, visiting services such as massage and physical therapy. Call or come on in to ask questions about our services, check your vitals, or see our facilities. We are open Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm.
